  • 150 g white beans
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt
  • 4 slices of bread


The first step to prepare white beans appetizer is to soak the beans for 12 hours. Then cook them in boiling water over high heat for 30 minutes. After that, drain the beans in a colander. And when they are slightly cool with a hand blender, blend the white beans with olive oil, oregano, black pepper and salt.

It is better that you toast the bread slices. But if you prefer soft bread rather than toasted one, then skip the toasting part. Finally spread the mixture on each slice of bread and then serve the appetizer.
