Apple Crumble

Ingredients for: Apple Crumble

  • 250 g flour
  • 80 g butter
  • 2 green apples
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon


To prepare apple crumble, first preheat the oven to 200 ºC.
Then peel, core and chop the apples into chunks. Now in a bowl, mix the apples with 5 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Then pour them in a large baking dish.
After that, in order to make the crumble topping, mix the flour with the softened butter and stir to combine them well.
Now spread the crumble mixture evenly over the top of the chopped apples and cover them completely. Then sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on top of the mixture.
Place the baking dish into the oven and bake the mixture for 50 minutes until it is golden on top. Let it slightly cool and then serve it warm.

Note: You can serve the apple crumble with a little cream on top.
