Ingredients for:
Green Burgers

  • 200 g spinach
  • 100 g coriander
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 6 red radishes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions for green burgers

To prepare green burgers, first chop the spinach and coriander finely. You can chop them by a knife or you can use a food processor.

Then slice the onion, red radishes and tomatoes. Next, chop the walnuts and mince the garlic.

After that, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. Then add the chopped spinach , coriander, walnuts, garlic clove and chickpea flour to the bowl and mix them well together.

Now warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a 14 cm non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat. Then scoop half of the prepared mixture and add it to the saucepan and with the back of a spoon press and shape it to a pattie. Cook each pattie for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are lightly brown.

Assemble the burgers

To assemble the burgers, first cover each bun with tomato slices. Then add the patties, sliced red radishes and onion on top of them. Green burgers are ready to serve.
