Green Burgers

Green Burgers are made with spinach, coriander, eggs, walnuts, and chickpea flour, these ingredients make them so delicious and flavorful.

Ingredients for Green Burgers

  • 200 g spinach
  • 100 g coriander
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 6 red radishes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper


To prepare green burgers first, chop the spinach and coriander finely. You can chop them with a knife or you can use a food processor to do that.

Then finely slice the onion, red radishes and, tomatoes. Next, chop the walnuts and mince the garlic.

After that, in a large bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper. Then add the chopped spinach, coriander, walnuts, garlic clove, and chickpea flour to the bowl and mix them together until they are completely combined.

Now place a 14 cm non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat. Then add 1 tablespoon of the olive oil to the saucepan and when the oil is warm with a ladle scoop out half of the prepared mixture and pour it into the saucepan. Then, with the back of a spoon, press and shape the mixture into a pattie. Cook each pattie for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they are lightly brown.

Assembling the burgers

To assemble the burgers first, warm the buns. Then top each bun with tomato slices. After that, add the patties, sliced red radishes, and onion on top of the tomatoes. Now Green Burgers are ready to serve.

Notes: Adding chopped walnuts to Green Burgers makes them tastier and gives them a crunchy texture. You can add many other toppings like pickles, cheese, mustard, or even ketchup to the burgers.
