This whole-wheat spaghetti with fennel is flavorful and really easy to make. With this recipe, you can prepare it within 20 minutes.

Ingredients for:
Spaghetti with Fennel
- 250 g whole-wheat spaghetti
- 1 small fennel bulb
- 100 g mushrooms
- 2 zucchini
- 1 onion
- 200 g tomato sauce
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp cheese powder
- Salt & pepper
After that, in a large skillet or a wok over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil and then add the chopped onion. When the onion is translucent, add the mushrooms and cook them for about 3 minutes. Then add the zucchini strips and sauté for 3 minutes more. Now add the fennel, salt and pepper and after 3 minutes add the tomato sauce with 200 ml of water. Then lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Meanwhile, cook the whole-wheat spaghetti in boiling water with a pinch of salt according to packet instructions (it is better to cook the spaghetti al dente) and then drain it in a colander. Then add the spaghetti to the prepared vegetable sauce, mix them and serve with cheese powder on top.
