Ingredients for:
Tortellini with Mushrooms

  • 250 g tortellini
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • 100 g green peas
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 100 g tomato sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper


To prepare tortellini with mushrooms, first wash and then cut the mushrooms in half. Then cut the red bell pepper into squares, cherry tomatoes in half and mince the garlic.

After that, cook the green peas in boiling water for 3 minutes and then drain them. Also, cook the tortellini in boling water according to packet instructions ( for 6-7 minutes) and then drain it.

Now in a wok or a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil first and then add the minced garlic to it. When the garlic is lightly golden, add the red bell pepper with salt and pepper and sauté for just 1 minute. Next, add the mushrooms and cook the ingredients for 1 minute more. Then add the cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce and one cup of water to the rest of the ingredients, lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Then remove the wok from heat, add the green peas and tortellini to the ingredients and mix them well. Your tortellini with mushrooms is ready to serve.

Note: Instead of green peas, you can use corn kernels in this recipe as well.
