Ingredients for Mixed Pasta Salad

  • 250 g penne pasta
  • 150 g lettuce
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 pitted green olives
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 25 g pumpkin seeds
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper


Mixed Pasta Salad recipe

To prepare this salad, first wash and then dry all the vegetables. After that, peel and slice the onion. Then peel and grate the carrots. Next, chop the lettuce and celery finely. Also, cut the cherry tomatoes in half.

Now in a pot over high heat, cook the penne pasta in boiling water with a pinch of salt according to packet instructions (but it is better that you cook the pasta al dente), and then drain it in a colander and let it slightly cool.

Then in a large bowl, add the prepared vegetables and penne pasta with pumpkin seeds and green olives. Mix the salad and then serve it in individual salad bowls or salad plates.

For salad dressing:

Mix the olive oil with fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper and serve the mixed pasta salad with it.
