  • 4 Potatoes
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Celery stalk
  • 5 Pickles
  • 200 g Green peas
  • 200 g Corn
  • 100 g Walnut
  • 1/2cup Mayonnaise


To prepare this Russian salad (Olivye), first cook the potatoes in boiling water for 30 minutes. Then drain and peel them. Also, cook the eggs in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then drain and peel them. Now cook the green peas and corn in boiling water for 15 minutes. And then drain them. When the potatoes and eggs are slightly cool, chop them. After that chop the celery, walnut, and also pickles. Finally, peel and grate the carrots.

Then in a big bowl add all the ingredients together with mayonnaise and mix them well. Your Russian salad is ready.
