Baked Potatoes

Baked Potatoes are made with spices and olive oil, so they are tasty and also healthy as they are baked in the oven with very little oil.

  • 3 potatoes
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Smoked red paprika powder 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Olive oil 5 tbsp


To prepare this tasty side dish, rinse the potatoes under cold water and then brush their skin with a vegetable brush. After that, cut them into thick slices. Next, in a bowl, mix the potatoes with black pepper, garlic powder, smoked red paprika powder, oregano, salt, and olive oil. Then pour the prepared potato mixture into a pyrex or an oven dish and spread them out in one layer. Now bake the potatoes in the preheated oven to 200º C for 40 minutes. Then the baked potatoes are ready to serve.

Notes: The potato skin has more nutrients than the interior of the potato and about half of the fiber in a medium potato comes from its skin. But be sure to rinse the potatoes and brush their skin under cold water before baking them.
