Oven Baked Potatoes

Oven Baked Potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. You can make this delicious side dish in 50 minutes.

  • 1 kg small potatoes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

To prepare this side dish, first wash the potatoes under running water, using a vegetable brush in order to scrub their skins of any dirt. Then use a clean kitchen towel to dry them completely.

Next, pour the potatoes into a large bowl. Then add the olive oil, black pepper, oregano, and sea salt to the potatoes and mix them. After that, transfer the prepared potatoes into a baking dish and spread them evenly in a single layer.

Now bake the potatoes in the preheated oven to 200º C for 50 minutes until their skin is crispy.

Notes: If you don’t have small potatoes, you can cut the large potatoes into chunks and then bake them. You can also use other aromatic dried herbs like rosemary, sage, and thyme in this recipe. Also, if you like spicy food you can add paprika or chili powder to your potatoes.
