Oven Baked Potatoes

  • 1 kg small potatoes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

To prepare this side dish, first wash the potatoes under running water by using a vegetable brush in order to scrub their skins of any dirts. Then use a clean kitchen towel to dry them completely.

Next, pour the potatoes in a large bowl and mix them with olive oil, black pepper, oregano and sea salt. After that, transfer the potatoes into a baking dish and spread them evenly in a single layer.

Now bake the potatoes in preheated oven to 200 ºC for 50 minutes until their skin is crisp.

Notes: If you don’t have small potatoes, you can cut large potatoes into chunks and then bake them. You can also use other aromatic dried herbs like rosemary, sage, and thyme. Also, if you like spicy food you can add paprika or chili powder to your potatoes.
