Ingredients for Almond Oat Squares

  • 150 g raw almonds
  • 110 g rolled oats
  • 100 g dates (seeded)
  • 20g raw shelled sunflower seeds
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


To prepare almond oat squares, in a food processor, process 130 gr of almonds, rolled oats, dates, sunflower seeds and sea salt for about 1 minute. Then add the honey and olive oil and blend all the ingredients together until a slightly sticky paste forms.

Now line a 20 x 20 cm square pan or a 15 x 20 cm rectangular pan with parchment paper and then transfer the dough to it. Press the dough firmly and evenly into the pan.

Next, roughly chop the remaining 20 gr of almonds by knife. Then add the chopped almond on top of the dough mixture.

After that, bake the dough in preheated oven to 180 ºC for 20 minutes until it is golden brown. When completely cool, carefully lift the dough out of the pan by the parchment paper and then cut it into 8 squares.

Note: You can store the almond oat squares in a sealed container for up to one week.
