Ingredients for Coconut Date Balls

Coconut Date Balls recipe
  • 150 g dates (seeded)
  • 30 g shredded coconut
  • 80 g cashews
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


To prepare this tasty snack, add the dates, cashews, rolled oats, sesame seeds, cacao powder, and salt into a food processor and process them for about 1 minute. Then add the olive oil and honey and blend all the ingredients together until slightly sticky paste forms.

After that, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then moisten the palm of your hands with water and shape the date paste mixture into little balls by pressing and rolling them between the palm of your hands. Next, roll them in shredded coconut and place them on the baking sheet.

Now bake the prepared coconut date balls in the preheated oven to 180º C for 15 minutes.

Note: If you prefer, instead of cashews, you can add walnuts or almonds, and instead of honey, you can use maple syrup in this recipe.
