Lentil Soup

  • 100 g lentils
  • 150 g green cabage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 50 g coriander
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper


To prepare this lentil soup, first chop the onion. Then slice the cabbage and also the celery. Finally, mince the coriander.

Now in a pot over high heat, first add the olive oil and onion and start to fry the onion. When the onion is translucent, add the green cabbage and celery and continue frying for 5 minutes until they are soft. After that, add the lentils, salt and pepper and fry all the ingredients together for 2 more minutes. Then add 4 glasses of water to the pot and when the soup starts to boil, lower the heat to medium and simmer for 30 minutes.

Just 10 minutes before the soup is ready, add the minced coriander to it and then serve it.
